MEET JOE

JOE ABASS
BANGURA

Joe is a Chartered Accountant, Serial Entrepreneur, and Life and Business Coach; with a significant profile in Sierra Leone primarily as host of the nation’s most popular motivational Show Life-by-Design. Over the past decade, this show has been a source of inspiration and empowerment, and a catalyst for audacious fightbacks, from a life of misery to one of significance, for many Sierra Leoneans at home and in the Diaspora.

Joe’s impact on these many lives can be traced to the authenticity of his message; he speaks from the heart, from real-life experiences, the kind that so many young people connect with. His experiences of being born to poor illiterate parents, his youthful indiscretions leading to two failed O’levels exams; dropping out of school and languishing as a piece-rate labourer; and fighting back to becoming a Chartered Accountant and the successful business executive he is today
